Trust administration/Probate
Uchino Law supports individuals who have had their loved ones pass away.
If the decedent had a trust, we assist the surviving spouse or the successor trustee with administering the trust.
If the decedent did not have a trust, we support the executor or the decedent's heirs to navigate the California probate process.
We also often assist Japanese families with the inheritance of US assets that have been left by a family member who previously lived in the California. We have experience in creatively handling numerous probates in California where some or all heirs of the decedent reside in Japan.
